Downtown Chili Cook-Off

The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Downtown Collective presents the 2024 Chili Cook-Off! Save the date for Saturday, July 13, 2024. Bowl sales from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, or until chili runs out. Free face painting, free bouncy castles, eating contests... check the link for all the details!
Midnight Madness

The Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with a downtown collective group of stakeholders and community sponsors, will host Midnight Madness on November 22, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Midnight Madness is a yearly event that usually takes place a week before Black Friday to encourage people to shop early and support the local shops and owners within the downtown core!
ABOUT
The Downtown Collective
Our downtown has stood the test of time and holds immense history and value. It represents a truly unique and iconic development area for economic and social activity and has the ability, as been demonstrated in the past, to create a critical mass of commercial, cultural and community activities.
Similarly, our Chamber has been around since 1900 and has stood the test of time. We recognize the value of our downtown core and its potential, and we have consistently demonstrated our willingness to work together on our collective efforts. Our Chamber also represents 112 downtown stakeholders as members of our organization. This represents more than one-tenth of our membership, so we have a vested interest in serving these members and all stakeholders of the downtown to make sure we can support their needs moving forward.
